Its always about the shoes

Hi Mum.

2 weeks until we go and I am still thinking about shoes. Its always about the shoes. You would think after all these decades of travelling, I would have the shoe thing sorted.

As a distraction I have ticked quite a lot off the 'to do' list:
Flights
Hotels
Tricky electrical adapters
Even trickier phone roaming plans
Dry cleaning for Oscar
Cleaning out kitchen drawers (not sure how that got on the list)
Booked a restaurant in San Francisco for the night of my birthday
Made 2 hair appointments- very important as you know
Ordered my foreign cash- probably more important.
Organised 2 new gas bottles
Re-learnt how to make this blog

I even took a photo for you of the ginko tree in my back garden 

 

but I am still stuck on those shoes...........
