and just between you and me, there are also at least 9 boxes of summer shoes I have already put away for the year.
So the three winners have been road tested for 2 things: will they go with the room full of outfits almost ready for my suitcase and will they hold together the ageing feet and spine over the hundreds of kilometres I am expecting to walk in the next 3 weeks?
If you see a photo of me in slippers or jandals in the subway, you will know that all those weeks of thinking have come to nought. And that possibly I would have been better fretting over other things like how to navigate our way around Tokyo!!!!!
I know. I can hear you asking how it took so many weeks to decide on 3 not particularly inspiring pairs. But I did have some choice..
